I'm not receiving notifications of guestbook entries.
Go to your profile, klick on "edit" -> "edit my profile" -> "guestbook" -> "notify me"
How to enable/disable private message notifications?
Go to your inbox (for example by clicking the "Mail" link in the top menu. Scroll to the bottom and click the "Settings" link. Choose the according "E-Mail Notification" setting.
Why can't I write that user a personal message?
You can only write persons you've added to your friends (exception: admins). Maybe write a guestbook entry first to say "hi", many users don't like sudden friend requests.
How can I add people to my friends?
Go to the person's userprofile, click on connections at the tab, then on "request connection".
I can't upload that picture.
Make sure it's jpeg, and not too big. You can also link pics into your profile.
Can I upload more than 12 pictures, or bigger ones?
You can't upload them to this site, but you can display pictures that you uploaded elsewhere in your profile questions.
My guestbook entry/ private message text was cut off.
It cuts off after "> <" because it thinks it's html code.
Parts of my profile are covered by the ads on the right.
This happens when you insert a picture into your profile via hotlink that is too big.
When inserting the picture, set it to a reasonable length or height, for example enter "400" or "600" into one of the dimension fields.

That happens when you wait too long before sending off a message. Simply re-enter the name of the recipient into the field and send it off again.
I know a great way how you could protect yourself of trolls!
Don't post it in the forums please. Chances are high that we know/are applying it already but the trolls don't know it yet. You're only educating them! If you think you have a good suggestion, send it to one of the
