Would you forgive BF/GF if he/she did stupid things?

If you really like someone enough, would you not care if that person did something incredibly stupid?

Below are 3 examples of boyfriends who did something stupid:

Boyfriend #1:

A German couple was celebrating their honeymoon while driving from France to Germany. The husband stopped by the gas station and didn't realize his newly married wife left the van to use the public washroom. So when he got back into the car, he drove away and left her behind without a wallet or phone. He kept driving for 2 and half hours before realizing she wasn't in the van. In the end, he picked her up and she wasn't annoyed because she told the news that "he didn't do it on purpose".

Boyfriend #2:

A British groom forgot to book the wedding venue so instead of telling his bride-to-be, he decided to call in a bomb threat to cover his mistake. So he made this call to the building where the wedding was supposed to take place so by the time the bride arrived, it was surrounded by police and the building was empty. He ended up telling the police it was a hoax and now he's arrested and being charged for making a bomb hoax.

Boyfriend #3:

An American BF was away from his home for 2 weeks and wanted to avoid confronting his gf on why he was gone. He decided to fake his own kidnapping by slapping duct tape over his eyes and mouth and get himself hogtied and left himself between two parked cars to be "discovered" at 1 a.m. He tried to tell authorities that he’d been nabbed by mystery men who blindfolded him and hauled him around in a light blue van for two week. Just like Boyfriend #3, he told the truth to the police and is arrested for reporting a false crime.

it depends on what he does. like he cheat on me, i dont think ever forgive him. cuz if i forgive and take him back it'll just give my flashbacks of what he did to me... but if it's small mistake, then i would probably forgive him, yeah ..

It really depends. Being with someone means adoring them for their faults as well as their perfections. If it was like.. forgetting my birthday, sure, I'll forgive them. If it was like cheating, no. There's no excuses and forgiveness for that. I don't condone cheating for ANY reason.

It depends what he does. If it was a life threatening situation, or he made some stupid BS excuse; I would try forgiving him but it would take a while. Luckily my boyfriend won't do that as we made a deal to be honest about everything.

I can understand the first example with the car, but the other two are just plain stupid. Really, setting up a bomb hoax? How dumb is that guy to think he wasn't going to get in serious trouble for that?

don't know if the question is if i would forgive him, but if i would think i can handle his craziness

those 3 just prove what an ass** we men are.. but

And as for the other two, I wouldn't be so sure in dealing with that sort of stupidity. I would forgive him if the things he did wouldn't go beyond as in sending him to jail. That's too extreme.

Small things I can have no problem forgiving him. Like forgetting to feed the fish or forgetting to put the toilet seat down.
