New in Germany was created by ouaisoki
Hello there !

Well I don't know how to start but yeah so I am French Vietnamese and I work now in Germany, Berlin.
I enjoy so much Berlin since there are so many things to do like bar, clubbing, visiting etc etc. :)

The only thing is that I don't have any friends other than my coworkers so I was thinking that it could be nice to meet people outside from that circle. So yeah, if you are willing to speak english and go out for whatever reason . I am totally up for it !

Concerning myself.. hmmm.. I am easy going & always smiley ! that's a good start right ? :)

Ciaaooo

I think it's awkward being in a group of German people when I don't speak their language and/or they're forced to switch to another just for me.

dont' worry. it can be fun. i did that all the time, although not with germans. it was with austrians, hungarians, poles, ukrainians, croatians, servians, french, russians, lithuanians, finnish and swedish. i hardly speak any of their languages, but we still had fun in english.

I totally! agree with [everywhere]:D

I just spent a week in France at a quite international place and it happened quite often that all membersof a group except for some spoke the same language and "switched" into another for the ones who didn't.

That was not a big deal though and as I've been one of the switching people most of the time I can only stress that there's no need to feel uncomfortable about it at all. (in my eyes :D)

You should checkout Weekend Club in Berlin, it has a roof terrace bar with amazing night views of Berlin and its pretty chilled out.
