1. In the chat it would be nice if it was open 24/7 soooo Maybe take shifts opening the chat or just let a new mod come. LIKE ME WHO IS HERE LIKE ALWAYS? LOL ok no? no.
2. You can see who visited your page.
3. A top 3 who posted the most on hey-ai a day or week.
Just some small things, would be nice. I don't like anonymous things because i personally think we don't have anything to hide here do we? All the things we have to hide, are in your mind and not on your profile.

The "thank you" button - I treat it like a "like" button or "i agree and dont feel like making a post of my own repeating everything you said"
I also think the idea of quoting quotes is perfectly fine and should be a feature of forums. Some people carry on different discussions on threads, and with other people adding their ideas in between, quoting quotes is important to keep track of the references people make in their posts. its really up to the poster to use quoting so that it isn't confusing to others.
I don't agree with the anonymous threads/posts - I think they will only cause confusion and serve no purpose. As this is the internet, we are already "anonymous". Also, some people may feel more inclined to act more carelessly and provoke others to respond to their emotionally-fueled posts under the cover of anonymity. There is already enough frustration and anger around the forums and I'd rather not see it worsen.
With the amount of active topics on the forum, I don't think there is a need to display similar threads, as there won't be many. In the case the community grows however, it would be a good idea, but for now it would probably just lag the server more. It would be also be nice to have a reddit-style implemented if the community grew so members could upvote a topic of particular interest.

thadeusz wrote: If I were allowed by the site owners, I'd add these features:
- asking and answering anonymously (posts/threads you created anonymously will not be displayed to anyone)
- display of similar threads
- change "thank you" into "karma"; also the amount of "karma" you can use to exchange into presents for you or for other users
- limiting quotations to the quoted post, i.e. no quotes of quotes
I think these features would increase the participation and make it more appealing. Do you have any more suggestions?

I think there's some features that can be removed and some that can be added!
What we can add/change:
[/ul]
Thanks!! I'm sorry if I'm super specific, haha.
What we can add/change:
- Some tabs on the site make the site look a little messy.. And I think in general, most people don't use them. Such as the 'Interviews', 'Buttons', and 'Bored?' tab.
- Reconstructing the website, perhaps. Making a different layout and use different colors so it doesn't look so messy, and put together. I think a change in the layout would be appealing, especially to old members who have been looking at the same thing for a while now.
- A change in the way messages are received and viewed. (I'm going to use another website as an example, please don't kill me.) But such as in Yellove or AMWFSN, they have a drop-down view of the messages, and you get them almost right then. You don't have to refresh, click the "XX private messages" link, then click another link to access the private message. It's a lot more convenient. I think the layout to those two websites is very clean, and a lot quicker than what we are supplied now.
- Have a tab for Tinychat, not one in which you have to click the link and then another box opens. I find that having to switch windows instead of tabs to check on the chat gets annoying after awhile.
- A clean-up of the mods. I know un-modding someone is rude.. but I feel like most of the mods aren't active anymore, and some haven't been on for years..
- I think a 'recently viewed me' section would be awesome. (Except then people will know when I'm profile lurking, hah.)
- I just think Hey-ai is very constructed into the whole, having to refresh the page every time you need to perform an action which makes it super slow and hard to deal with. Like, giving a thank-you to a post, the page refreshes. Replying to someone's wall, the page refreshes. This was probably okay a few years ago, but sort of outdated now.
- Also, rating pictures or a hot-or-not thing would be cool, ha. Or having the page view count back, welp.
