A bit surprised that no one yet has started a thread like this, if I'm right.

So what's (are) your all-time favorite band(s) and why?
And what are the songs that immediately come into your mind?

I'll start first.

My favorite band is Coldplay. Chris Martin is such an awesome vocalist and pianist. I love the lyrics, the music itself. They are just so unique in my eyes

The songs mostly played: the scientist, yellow, what if, green eyes, paradise, clocks, see you soon..etc

One of my fav bands is The GazettE ^^ because their lyrics have a deep meaning

I've been a huge Rammstein fan for yeaarrs. I've met one of the guitarists and I've seen 6 shows, three of them 1st row. Till's deep voice is very unique and I like it how he uses it for this kind of music, since I'm sure it's not easy when you have a voice like him. The songs are just pure, very much melodic and the lyrics always have a deeper meaning, although it's too bad many foreign fans can't understand the lyrics.

my favourite band has to be dir en grey.. hard to put in words but when i listen to their music i am lost in it and its so deep and Kyo's emotion is so raw and powerful..after seeing them live two times so far.. they are just simply amazing... and theres X- japan.. Yoshiki is talented beyond belief.. the guy would start playing the piano and play something beautiful and within a few seconds run straight to his drum kit and play like a demon possessed! xD

My favorite bands are D'espairsRay and Rammstein.

D'espairsRay because I love their music, the lyrics, the music videos... and that band was the first band I saw live.

Rammstein because... uhm... it's Rammstein. I can't explain, okay it's like D'espairsRay. I just love the music and everything and... yeah... I can't explain it.

Yea, I know the feeling. I also thought this when I had to describe but tried my best
