kids reaction to kpop music

dunno if this has been posted before , but kinda funny to watch their reactions. I think these kids are too young , once they grow a bit older they will understand what kpop is all about .






What are your thoughts on Kpop music? What was ur first reaction when u first saw Kpop music?

I first experience kpop music in the 90s, oh yes those old groups , HOT, SES, SHINWA, I thought they were kinda cool. Now there's so many groups it's kinda just , oh just another pretty face group. . I still love kpop music and any other music out there. music for life.

Some of the kids on Kids React to annoy me so badddd But usually I think their opinions are just cute haha

I used to really dislike KPop when I first heard it, and then when I gave it another try because a friend sent me a song some years later I suddenly loved it and grew addicted. :<

Well here is my 2 cents worth. I think kpop has changed heaps. I grew up with kpop as I have a Korean background but Korean music in general is a lot more visual and image based than it use to be in the 90's and rather than trying to copy a lot of the 'American' type of genres like in the 90's, the industry is trying very hard to come up with its own sound? ( although not always the case)
Also you have missed out on mentioning the most important pop icon in Korean music industry

You missed out on mentioning Seo Taiji !!!^^ because pretty much Korean music is divided into pre Seo Taiji and post Seo Taiji periods in the early 90's.
I think when he came in, the whole music sound and the industry changed from old folk type 'Gayo' music to a modern sounding, commercialised multi million dollar business.

I gotta say though, the kids are very cute....

Well you didn't miss out on much. Most of it was a direct copy/rip-off of what was available elsewhere in the world ( as there were many legal cases for copyright infringements back then from foreign record companies and artists)

But I did like Seo Taiji and still do but only after he kinda broke away from his group and started his own thing which basically meant he wasn't restricted to the commercial side of things since he made so much money by then so he started to release music that was kind of his own thing.

Oh and by the way, the original group he formed Seo Taiji and the boys ( what a corny name) had him and 2 others. One of them is Yang Hyun Suk, or we use to call him YG back in the late 90's....who is the founder and president of....
^^ I'm sure you know who he is...he owns Psy and others...

enough chitter chatter here is a clip from Seo Taiji's album in 98? I think. I like this song a lot
