yeah, i actually read about her story some time ago. She's just doing it for fame and fun. Actually she has a well-paid job in a consulting agency. But food porn is funny =) it's called mok-bang and The Diva is one of the most famous persons doing that. But don't get fooled about that extra income of about 6000 - 9000 dollars per month, The Divas food expenses reach about 6000 dollars a month in doing that mok-bang. But i prefer watching this guy:

if it was that simple then yea. But it isn't. Full time streaming is a rough job. Your income is unstable. Your job security isn't stable. You take a break and lose half your viewers. If you're a game streamer, your stability depends on the longevity of a game. It's great for those at the top, but if you're not first, you're last.
