What is your very first Asian movie that you saw?

Mine was a Taiwanese drama called 'Mars' based on a Japanese manga.





I already liked Chinese culture, but then I fell in love with the language.

Oh I can't remember my first Movie. but I enjoyed watching the original Journey to the West tv series that aired almost 30 years ago.

The one about the Mad Monk was good too.

To be honest, I think my first asian movie(s) was some of Jackie Chan's really old stuff... and I've been watching Chinese movies the most....but since I can't remember WHICH of them or WHEN it was, I'm gonna pop out the funniest asian movie I've ever seen and it's totally recommended if you need a good 'wtf' movie



I think this one came out in 2004 though, so it's not that old

My first one was The Last emperor, i watched it when i was little and i really liked it

The first Asian movie I saw was Memoirs of a Geisha in 2006 online with a friend of mine. I was in 9th grade.


But I didn't really start liking Asian movies/dramas until I saw all The Grudge movies the summer after high school in 2009.


And my very first Asian drama (also seen summer of 2009) was a Taiwanese one, It Started with a Kiss.
