Learned/heard anything recently that was interesting or that you think more people should know?

I recently talked to a guy who was doing research about Islamic right.
If I understood him correctly, he said there is no such thing as a loan in Islamic law.
All businesses run only with the capital than they have accumulated themselves.
That is certainly interesting. While it probably leads to slower development, it will also prevent economical crises caused by speculants ...

Nice topic! I just learned that Aussies pay rent by the week, not by the month like Americans do. And, I also learned that Indian burial grounds aren't haunted like people think. They are cursed, they have curses placed on them to keep people from digging up and robbing the dead, and other such horrible things people do to graves.

I just looked that up.
So on the Philippines (an island) there is Taal Lake (a lake), and it has a volcano in it, which forms an island, and in the volcano crater is a lake, and in this lake there seems to be yet another small island :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I just learned that sleeping 13 hours when you have a sinus infection (I think so anyway) it really helps XD


Also, Ted Fu's fiancée's name is one letter different from mine o____O
