Tell me something you recently found beautiful.

I use the term beautiful to express an appreciation for something not necessarily just aesthetics. Remember, what one person finds beautiful or awesome won't mean another will. AND PLEASE reply anytime and more than once if you wish. You will find beautiful things more than once and at any given time. Don't be afraid to share and let us see your perspective.

I recently hung out with some acquaintances that I knew in high school. Some of them are born privileged and still are, some have their life very much together, while others have an idea, but are still trying to figure it out. The changes made me think of my own progress thus far. Life, with it's infinite variety is terrifying and very beautiful.

Just recently? Well, what is truly beautiful isn't necessarily so obvious. They say beauty is skin deep, which is true. Flesh is flesh. I usually try and make sense of things, and not bother with things either beyond my control and cannot change or hard-headed people who make no sense.

I find beauty in trivial every day happenings such as someone dropping something on the ground and someone else nearby helps the other person in picking it up. Guys tend to do this when a girl drops something (whether by accident or not). Or, sometimes I notice a woman's laugh and the music of it and how beautiful it sounds, which is also a big turn on.

Well,today when i got home after work i saw my baby nephew's smile and that smile is the most beautiful thing i've seen all day today.

I was getting worked up with work stress, I work from home, and I had a little while to wait before my next client arrived. Unbeknownst to me, my husband set up a picnic blanket on the front lawn with our dog and invited me to come and lay with them and stare at the blue sky under the warm sun with the two creatures I love the most. That was really beautiful.

This community. The past few days has been very difficult for me personally but the love and support from everyone has been incredible and helped me to keep my spirits up. There are too many names to mention, but you are all beautiful people and I just want to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I find beauty in music, beautiful people, a random new plaything (toy), anything with the right color combination etc etc... however, yesterday, I found THREE beautiful things.

I was watching the first episode of 'Jane The Virgin' and I loved it. I realized that one of the main actors in this series is goddamn beautiful!


I also came across this tune on my CHILL list, and I ended up listening to it over and over and over and over...it's very beautiful!



Third... first snow of the year yesterday. The snowflakes were huge. Sure, they didn't stick, but snow is beautiful when it falls out of the sky

I feel the same about my one-year old niece as well.

Honestly, I've always found these following things beautiful but I have a new found appreciation for them. It felt as if my eyes were being opened again but with new lenses? Anyway, the sky and little oddities.

The sky always looks so new and amazing to me. The clouds remind me of surreal paintings and the colors like beautifully blended paints! Every single time that I look up, I smile. I feel as though that most of us forget to look up and find wonder in the everyday that we truly underestimate how wonderful it all is. The blues, yellows, oranges, pinks, purples, and the black with little sparkles dotted all around. The stars and moon are my favorite part. There's this one star that flickers between red, green, and white. It's lovely! The stars (some of them) are ghosts who have already died but since we're so far away we get to see them shine as if they're still there!

Little oddities are people's quirks. Those little moments when they let their self shine and go on excited rants! The passion behind their eyes is a gateway to the fire that burns in their hearts! In that moment, they are so unashamedly them self and get lost in the passion. I can't help but smile and stare in wonder at the spark. Then I try to fuel the flames and get them to speak more about it. I adore the passion, the spirit, the gusto.
I'm not particularly impressed with the facade or the shows that some people can put on but more so when they are the rawest form of self! ^^
