"Controversial Discussion"

Honestly, your thread was classified as controversial discussion because people don't learn to be more tolerant, respectful with strong debates and discussions without insulting each to other.

Thread like '' Wu Flu '' www.hey-ai.com/forum...u-flu?start=160 was blocked because people are not tolerant, respectful, open to omit if you disagree with different expressions and visions of thoughts through various debates that can be controversial or delicate.

Your reply might be "honest", but it doesn't help explain the phenomenon of being indifferent towards the suffering of the Chinese, while hypersensitive about maintaining the arguably unreputable, if not bankrupt moral authority of the West. Taking the Chinese suffering as an opportunity to undermine their government and ideology is not just a cheap play, but a despicable manifest of such immoral souls of Western leadership.

You have no right in judging the Chinese handling of the virus, while you show little or no sympathy towards the suffering Chinese people.

In this thread though, I am simply comparing the handling of these 2 posts, namely:

"Wu Flu" vs. "H1N1 Virus = Swine Flu Virus = American Flu Virus = Racist Flu Virus?"
on this forum.

It reflects at a "common sense" level, how insensitive the hey-ai users and mods are towards the racist labeling of the virus against the Chinese vs. the hypersensitivity towards anything marginally critical said about the Western ideology and authority.

Hope this clear up my view on this issue.

I concur that. It is up to you Chinese and Asians to fight back against prejudice against you on every single occurance. There is nothing wrong or shameful calling racists out loud when you're being wronged. Politeness is not the language racists will ever understand.

Based on our personal experiences, such double standard is not unique here, but virtually universal in life. It's truly frustrating. I encourage everyone who doesn't want to see this type of prejudice display zero tolerance towards it and fight back against it properly.
