I plan on spending at least a few months in Germany and I'd like some opinions on the above-mentioned cities. Sorry if this post is in English, as this is the German forum, but I speak only very basic German(tho I am trying to learn!). My only experience with Germany is Berlin, which I found quite amazing. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely look into it. I'm sure Germany is pretty cool all around so if anyone has any other suggestions I'd love to hear it.

i would personally use armani or dior. diesel is a little too strong for my taste, and if u want classic try calvin klein

The thing is, Düsseldorf and Cologne are very close by and part of a metropolitan area. So you can get to many fairly big cities in no time when you are in this part of Germany. If you are there already, try the Netherlands as well.

Both are nice and really close together, it's a 30 minute train ride. It's quite normal to live in one city and work in the other. In comparison, Düsseldorf is more expensive. Cologne probably has the better night life. Düsseldorf has the highest number of Asian (mostly Japanese) restaurants, shops, businesses in Germany.
