Travelling to Frankfurt next weekend!

Hello this is my first post here! Not sure if I have posted in the wrong place but please bear with me.

Exciting news! I'm going to Frankfurt next weekend 20-23 September, partly going to see the Frankfurt IAA 2013 and partly to tour around the city! This will be my first time there and I am really excited, anyone wants to be my guide or teach me some German?

Otherwise, what attractions or places would you recommend? I am staying near the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof station but I guess it doesn't really matter as travelling around the city should be easy by trains/undergrounds? See you soon!

I might be going to Frankfurt for the Fi & Ni, but that isn't until November...

too bad i'm not from Frankfurt. I could have shown you around, although i'm not from there, but i've been there several times and it's a fun place to be. Lots and lots of great places to eat =D But i guess as you're from London, Frankfurt may not be that special in terms of restaurants for you. Are you at the IAA for work?

It happens that I am a car freak and this is just a leisure trip for me to have a look at the motor show!

Yeah it's mainly a trade show and so not many people knows this! Haha.

I'm planning to go to the motor show for 2 days, then the remaining times to tour around Frankfurt and maybe go to another city for a day trip?

And to some where "normal people" don't even get access to. I mean....I have a ticket for the ANUGA

I guess I'm just not so interested in cars. I say: FOOOOOOOD

Haha, it's OK. I love going to shows or fairs, love the atmosphere going to large exhibition halls with lots of people! Food maybe next on my list to cars.

i think i will be iaa next year. the cv are more interesting. the cars are more beautiful. useful vs design

Was there last week 2 days for IAA not bad nit bad .
