Looking for an online German tutor.

Hey guys! I'm beginning to learn German and it'd be awesome to have some people online to chat with in order to practice.

Is there any perticular reason why you want to learn German? Cause i'll tell you, it's really hard when you start it or it depends on how good you can understand other languages. (Me myself quite gave up on learning German since i already can understand it and almost everyone on the world already speaks English. )

BTW there are a lot of people here who can understand and speak German though! Just search in the bar for someone who comes from Germany cause ofcourse people who live in Germany speak German except if they are just to lazy to learn German or are there to work but not to connect with German people who speak German.

Well, I speak several languages and just want to learn as many as I can in my lifetime. Although I understand many Europeans do speak English, there's nothing like conversing in the native language, right?

I feel like with every language you learn, it opens the door to meeting new people and truly experiencing new cultures.

Is German really that hard? It requires a lot of memorization for the nouns but I find it no more difficult than learning English.

I actually quite agree with you that it does opens doors as well . HAHA. Guess we are learning languages for the same reason.

And i personally think it isn't that hard since i live next to Germany and German and Dutch quite look a like. BUT i did have a hard time with learning the 'indefinite articles' . The reason why i found it quite hard was because it has so MANY and it was quite confusing. I really wish you goodluck though!! Learning languages is fun when you have to power of learning and understanding them easily!

German is comparable to French if you speak about grammar. The pronunciation is not hard, there is just a big part in grammar which you have to learn and accept as it is without trying to understand why. If you are good in learning as in memorizing big junks of rules and exceptions it shouldn`t be a problem It`s actually a pretty logical language, well apart from the articles i guess.

I`ve got a lot of experience in tutoring, but...eh...elementary kids or school kids till 14-15 I`m not sure that the same teaching methods are appliable to adults

Lol It's my native language and sometimes my friends and I think: "wait a mom... Can I say it like that or is it wrong?" Or the always loved question: "is that word even german?! O.o"
But even though it seems hard to learn: there are so many other languages that are even harder to learn.
I'd say it gets a lot easier once you know the basics
