Some information regarding Dusseldorf?.

Hi...
I'm going to be spending the next few years of my life close to Dusseldorf. I have heard from my own research and also other German friends I have that there is a fairly large amount of Japanese and Korean Germans who live in this area. I also heard there is somewhat a Korean town sort of thing?....
If anyone knows, would it be possible to tell me the street or the vicinity in Dusseldorf where it is located? I have been hearing many conflicting facts from people where some say there are a few grocery shops and others say there is a huge mart that sells everything from rice pots of kimchi fridges.

Any help would be appreciated and if I have put this on the wrong section, I do apologize...cheers

Yeh they got a few asian supermarkets and several restaurents and shops.

It's kinda like an area around Oststrasse and Immermannstrasse. It's a few side streets too. Go to the junktion where the streets cross and explore the area.

I've been to two of the supermarkets but I've got no idea if they are the ones with all the stuff you mention haha.

I have no idea what you are talking about hahaha i speak zero German so and I haven't been to Dusseldorf yet.... so if i look up google maps with the information you have given me I should be ok right?.

My aunt's lived in Dusseldorf since the 60's. She was part of a wave of Korean nurses who were sent to Germany back then, so there's actually a huge Korean community community there.

Do you know where the Dusseldorf Hpf is (the train station)? When you come out the main entrance, continue walking straight for a few blocks and you'll start to see Korean restaurants everywhere.

the closest i have been to Dusseldorf 3 years ago was when I drove past Dortmund on the autobahn..=S..
