Girrrrllll I feel you on the humidity! lol. I'm sure it's probably worse where you're at but Japanese summers are brutal! Up North we get crazy cold winters as well. Spring is def. my favorite season in Japan!

^same. being such a fan, i had to visit that iconic spot despite knowing what a tourist trap it is. kamakura, where that railroad crossing is located is a must go though. its also where i had my most memorable experience in japan, seeing a real life delinquent high school student that are stereotyped/portrayed in manga. im talking about one of those students who look like they are 40 yrs old like in rokudenashi blues lol. wish i was quick enough to take a photo. this guy was towering over everyone. made me look like a 10 yr old.
