Okay so I had this thought because my friend had a valid point. Most guys today want thinner and more attractive girls. When there are girls like me who are forced to sit in the corner and watch from the shadows like some creep.

Back in older time (Victorian to like the 1800s or something *little wonky on my history*) men use to love plus sized women. I mean granted it meant the bigger you were the more money you had and a lot of people are gold diggers but there had to be some who actually did fall in love.

Now a days forget it all guys ever seem to want are the super pretty twigy girls who if they turn side ways they'd disappear. Giving girl like me this complex of wanting to look just like them in hopes that one day we might be able to attract someone worth our time....

I know I may have said too much but honestly.... I figured I would just put this out there!

Going by your information provided during the 18th century era, the only reason guys went for plus sized girls is because they had a symbolic image of "bigger you are, the more you have", aswell as the fact that civilisation were in the gold digging era, its not hard to see the incentive to love these plus sized woman were obviously not for companionship, rather for matetialistic wealth.

You point some good things here, Jessie. And the worst part is that they make us feel guilty for being the way we are and constantly judge us as pigs eating all day doing anything else with our lives.

Well in todays society, advertisments and media have a huge influence on us than before. You could say the 'slim look' has been constantly thrown at us in every aspect of our lives altering our decisions, choices and ultamitely attractions...

My point is even those men with 'genuinely good hearts', won't go out with a person unless they're attracted to them... But there will be a small number saying otherwise...

Like i said... Ads + media had a huge influence on us...
Personality is an important trait, but i think the majority of this generation values physicality rather than mentality.. This is just my opionon. But whats to say that slim girls don't have a great personality aswell?

P.s i'm curious in how you define a person as "good hearted".

twigy girls who if they turn side ways they'd disappear.

That was my favourite line. xD

Ok, seriously now.
I do agree with you most men nowadays prefer thin girls, really thin girls, but there are also MANY men out there who prefer more volume to cuddle with. ;D
Sure, everything the medias show are super thin girls (I wouldn't go as far as to call them attractive, while I wouldn't consider them pretty at all) and "blahblah if you're fat you're ugly", but that's just a whole ton of bullshit.
Did you ever watch a real man watch some of these model shows?
Most of them start talking about how unattractive they think those women are at some point in time.
Sure there also are those man who prefer women like these, but you don't need to care about them.
Curves still are appreciated by many people, don't worry about that. Being chubby does not mean being unattractive!
A nice smile, a pretty character and a welcoming voice are far prettier than anything else.

In any way, if a man does not like you because of how you look, he is not worth you anyways! ;)
