A theory I have heard regarding the thinner and thinner ideal of beauty is that most of the fashion designers who influence our idea of beauty are mostly gay, so they tends to promote androgynic models, who are typically thinner and younger. This type of beauty definition moves us away from curvy women whom stimulates our procreative urges by signaling sexual maturity and moves social mentality into more sexually ambiguous and pedophilia tendencies.

Just thought I share what I've read.

Interesting theory, but I don't think fashion designers have that much influence today. Very few people that would describe their ideal body type as 6 foot tall, super-thin, and flat as a board.

What I said before was

Sorry for the late reply, work has been kicking my ass.
But anyhoo

Stifler, There has only been to examples in my life of people who have been good hearted, and both of them I lost. but my opinion on what a good heart is, any combination of, Being able to see passed someone's flaw, standing for what you truly believe, sticking up for the weaker person, protecting those you love, and loving someone or something with all your heart amongst many other things.

Hime: well I would have use the line "If they had turned side ways and stuck out their tongue they would look like zippers" but meh
on a more serious side. Yeah I know what you mean it's just those are the guys I always seem to fall for... Except two... one died and the other I let get away... T^T

First, the word you're looking for is "Rubenesque" after Flemish painter Peter Paul Ruben, who painted, shall we say, plump women, and yes they were considered more beautiful because being plump meant that she was healthy (thereby wealthy as well). Second, it is a mis-characterization to say that all men want to date "twigs" nowadays; there are plenty of men who are perfectly happy to date healthy Rubenesque women. Third, "anywho" or "anyhoo" or any variation of it is not a word*.

*Yes I know, I'm annoying for pointing it out, but it bothers me when people say that instead of saying "anyway".

Honestly I should have specified better because honestly it seems to be the guys that I'm attracted to. or Even the ones I run into through out my life... To be even more honest out of the 6 guys I have dated in my life. 5 turned out to be gay or bi and used me as a cover and they other left me because he thought I liked this other guy with out getting the details. So honestly when I actually started getting more picky about the guys I wanted in my life it turns out that I became too picky and it has made me more self-conscious then I already was to begin with. They honestly prefer the slim sexy doll type over someone who actually cares. ...

Yeah sorry it tends to annoy a lot of people but it's out of habit now. Sorry

Yes, I'm sure that's it. Fashion designer don't have that much influence today. No wonder we're all a-flutter over short, full-figured women.

Seriously, we all have our own preferences, and you are no exception:

No I know, I guess I'm just really insecure a lot more lately. Between my friends and work and well most of the guys I'm friends with or attracted to.... Things get really... out of hand shall we say... I know this is opening myself up a bit much but...

I would want to date a fit and healthy guy so we can motivate each other to be fit and healthy. I'm not really attracted to big guys...but that's not my fault, it's just in my nature. ppl are different.
