Expanding the Messages Limit

Well, as the title of the thread says, can we expand the limit of our inbox? I have a bunch of people I'd like to reply to via PM, but cannot. I get this instead:

"You have 52 messages in your inbox and archive You can still receive and read messages but you will not be able to reply or to compose new ones until you delete messages."


Now, I know the solution is to delete messages so the inbox is under 50. But I wish to keep all the messages as I learn so much from them, and moving the messages to the Archive to save them does not solve this; it's still counted as being part of the 50-messages limit.

So could the mods or someone please reset the default limit, or make the messages stored in the Archive section not count toward the limit please?

I have a different opinion whereby we increase the character limits; perhaps doubling it.. Basically, anything more than the current 2500 characters limit.

Oh, shouldn't this be in suggestions section or something...

They can increase the character limit to a million characters, but it wouldn't mean anything if you couldn't even send the message because your inbox is maxed out.

Ideally, they should increase both the inbox limit as well as the character limit too. That way, everyone's more content.
