Not able to request connections

I need help, whenever I hit the "Request Connection" link on a person's profile, I get the error message "WARNING! Reference mark cbAddConn not found." How do I get past this so I can request connections? This has happened to every person I have tried to request a connection with. Is it because I'm new? Is there something I need to do so this message doesn't show up again? Or, as a new member, is there a certain amount of time I have to wait before being able to request connections?

have seen other people with this problem but no clue how they fixed it. have you considered posting a wall message and ask these persons to add you, due to a technical fault at your own site? Or just... use the wall to contact these people??

Thank you for answering, I'll give those a shot! maybe I'll try to get ahold of the administration too
