Help, I'm confused!

hello everyone, so I have some technical questions about this website since I think some things are very confusing on here.
First of all, last time I tried to add an attachment to one of my forum posts but the attachment wasn't posted..why?
Secondly, how do you add pictures to your forum posts?
Thirdly, how do people do it to have these pictures in their 'footnote', you know the pictures that appear in every post they make.
That's all right now, if I think of anything else I'll post it below.

I wouldn't trust this forum for attaching anything. To post pictures, if they're already online, you right click and copy "image location" or "image URL" then paste it in the post between ["img"] and ["/img"] (without the quotation marks), or use the insert image tool above the writing window. If it's a picture you have as a file, you can uploaded to an image hosting site and then get the URL of the picture from right click like previously mentioned. Some people use Photobucket, I use tinypic out of laziness to create an account.

The same image or words you see at end of each post are signatures and you can change that in your profile setting.

Np. You don't really need to memorize BB code to use them. The tool bar above the writing section can do it for you. For example, highlight what you wrote before posting and click the Bold option and etc.

just tried your tips out by posting pics in one of the topics (I used tinypic as well), everything worked perfectly, thanks again!
