Uh, I don't like trump but that's what epidemics do. It goes and overwhelms any nation healthcare system if not properly handled. And now the US has the highest number of COVID-19 cases and are where China was a month ago. They could take and fund large countermeasures or they can argue on the severity of the virus. Such partisan debates and divide on views are just delaying responses.

Some key republicans are outright stating that older people are willing to sacrifice themselves for the economy. Aka They're not as willing to spend. And that just increases burden on hospitals that exceed its limits.

Ultimately congress needs to first agree to take the virus seriously..if they can't even collectively do that now, then an even further hampered healthcare system is inevitable in the next month.

Tell republicans to stop being cheapskates and take the virus very seriously. If china was wiling to shut down cities and close down their economy, that should have bern proof enough that they should also take it seriously www.alternet.org/202...o-big-deal/amp/
Already late to implement but the current mask shortgage for nurses in pandemics can be resolved if elastomeric respirators with N95 cartridges be mass produced. It is more expensive than normal N95 masks but reusable elastomeric respirators with N95 cartridges, are cost effective since they can be disinfected and reused. Maybe petition gov to later mass produce reusable masks for future pandemics.

They are the deadly effects of each virus or pandemic worldwide, the indispensable availability of any medical center and health hospital collapses if it is not managed with greater organization, protocols for prevention and medical safety.
Currently USA has overtaken China, Italy, Spain becoming the country, with more confirmed Covid-19 infections. New York State remains the epicenter of the US coronavirus outbreak. USA with figures 586,057 in positive cases and the number could increase.

The state government gradually increased the restrictions in order to lower the wave of contagions, with the closure of schools, restaurants and other businesses,as well as the request to people that them avoid going out on the public highway. These measures ended up emptying and silencing the streets of the city of skyscrapers, but they still seem far from achieving their goal and authorities warn that the outlook can be bleak.
The authorities can apply strict alternatives, finance certain countermeasures, or sit down to discuss the severity of the virus.
Those political debates, scientists and independent points of view without any agreement, only delay the definitive, instead of reacting as soon as possible and buying time.  Depending on each state, and as a result, congressional, state, and local leaders are aggressively pursuing policies to support these workers and their employers in these tumultuous times, including the CARES Law.

Each country and place must prioritize real information, prevention measures, tests, adequate medical supplies. Taking care, protecting the health of your workers, without risk them to exhaustion. Directing attention to medical supplies, fans, isolation rooms in good condition  and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). I think the USA has a problem with supplying personal protective equipment, which has meant that people have been reusing personal protective equipment for too long. PPE is not only important in hospitals, but also in care and nursing homes and, lastly, care and social services.
I think volunteer manufacturers need give their best collaboration and not volunteers give step forward and increase supply. There are problems, really present factors to guarantee distribution.
Countries must do more to cooperate and share the distribution of PPE to guarantee supply. More training / information is also necessary, it is not easy to choose persons by skills and put some equipment correctly without previous training. A broad dilemma between political parties. Saving lives versus saving the economy and society.

Although for the vice-governor of Texas; Dan Patrick, there is no dilemma, the economy must be saved and the restrictions imposed must be lifted to stop the covid-19 epidemic. In short, he does not want to sacrifice more time and money.
I think some people don't want to die for Wall Street and for an economy that can be recovered over time with effort, ingenuity, and perseverance. However Life and time does not recover.
I think that the president, the representative authorities of NY and other states should take the Covid-19 pandemic seriously. From the beginning, NY should have been quarantined.
If they really want to reduce a serious impact of contagion and effects of the Covid-19, they must implement stricter measures, keep streets and public places empty, the closure of educational establishments, airports, public transport, restaurants and other independent businesses, as well as the request that people avoid going out on the public road. Them must sacrifice energy, economy and implement online socioeconomic strategies for an inactive period of time.
It may be too late to implement and exercise measures to avoid contagion, but the constant struggle to face the pandemic is admirable.
Shortages of supplies such as ventilators, face masks, personal biosafety supplies, for nurses and general staff can be addressed with reusable elastomeric respirators.
Trump, you shouldn't waste time and should ask auto companies, or other companies that want to join the initiative, collaboration and production of N95 respirators and essential additional supplies.

I'm here temporarily, but I'm not from here. While higher your frequency, higher will be your conscience.
