First and foremost, what's done is done.

It would be wise in future, to set forth a standard vetting procedure before jumping gun and blatantly accusing said user(s) of wrong doing.

Look at the POOR guy getting defamed and his reputation tarnished with such public post(s) along with unnamed user(s) adding more oil to fire =P

The question to ask Fred is are you sure that you can handle your job as a moderator in this site? How many people have been victimized under "your moderation"? Am I the first and only victim under your moderation? If you are uncertain about how to do your job well, I strongly recommend you to quie the position immediately and let the professional to do it.

I know that all the moderators here are volunteering; however, that does not mean they do not have the commitment and responsibility for their actions. I wonder what are the cateria on selecting a qualified moderator on this site? or are the cateria just every one can apply it? How long dos Fred have been in this position? I suggest including the section that show the duration of serving the position from all the admins and moderators for further enhancement from Hey-Ai. The site need some professionals instead of amateurs to handle the issues like these.
