I want them taller than me... Im only 5'3, Le sigh.

Usually discussions about height break down into two groups arguing: one side crying "omg tall people so unfair boo hoo" and the other side spamming "u cant change ur height stop worrying!!"

Yeah, valid points. But it's tiring to hear it over and over when we could have a genuine discussion.

So I'm pleasantly surprised with how this thread turned out. Looks like there's hope for Hey Ai after all =)

I've heard girls say on many occasions that they wouldn't date a guy below X height. But I've never heard any guy say the same about girls. What do you think about that?

i'm 5'2'', so i could easily be shipped in a box anywhere around the world.

I am secure enough in myself to be with someone shorter than me, height doesn't matter for me, but for a lot of men it does matter. My biggest issue has been men that tell me I'm "too tall" for them, even though I'm only 5'6"

Learn to love yourself, no matter how tall you are, and you will accept everyone as they are.

Being really tall myself (5'10"-5'11" or 177 cm -181 cm) height isn't a huge issue. I have dated someone who was 5-6" shorter than men, and I've dated someone 5-6" taller than me. From both experiences, I like it when guys are my height or slightly taller. When a guy is quite a bit shorter, it can be awkward, but when they are super tall, its intimidating and makes me even more uncomfortable. This is probably because I have always been one of the tallest haha. As far as guys who are shorter, it is definitely possible to be with a girl taller.. I would just recommend being friends for awhile first. Tall girls have to get comfortable with the idea first is all. Hope it helps.

It might be possible that guys pay more attention to body proportions relative to height while girls care more for absolute height. Though it is true I like girls around my height, possibly because sharing clothes would be easier in case laundry isn't finished. xD

So you can't protect taller girls? That sucks...

If he's taller it's nice but if he's not then that is not too much of a problem, as long as he's not all weird and sensitive about it. Being confident with a strong masculine presence is what he mainly needs and you can have that at any height, in my opinion.

Also good posture! Do not underestimate the power of good posture, slouchy guys.
