Kinda irrelevant to this topic, but clearly it's already devolved into a mess anyway, but... why is it that people, in general, seem to believe the mass media entirely when it comes to Asian or indeed any race's men? Why is it that when Asians were portrayed as weak and nerdy in movies, or martial arts masters, this became a belief? One that some Asians themselves believed

and now, when Korea has produced boy/ girl bands that are popular, why are people (and women particularly) suddenly interested in specifically Korean culture? Did Korea suddenly lose all its nerds and martial arts masters over the span of 4 years or so?

Just an observation, but It seems that most people subconsciously believe anything they see on TV/ movies. media... which begets the question, how much of one's opinions are really one's own and how many are programmed into us...
