UK Meetup - Alton Towers!!!

UK Meetup - Alton Towers!!!



Hey everyone! I am organizing a UK meetup at the beautiful theme park - Alton Towers! This will be a medium sized group of 12 people, consisting of an even balance of 6 guys and girls! The list will run on a first come - first serve basis. Anyone who comes in too late after the 6 spots of your gender have been filled, will be put on a waiting list if anyone pulls out.

When is it?
As of right now nothing is in concrete, however I have my eye on 3 dates. If people could please let me know which date would best suit them via here or PM, that would be great

1) Saturday 5th May (Bank Holiday Long Weekend)
2) Saturday 19th May
3) Saturday 2nd June (Bank Holiday Long Weekend)

Obviously the date which has the most interest will be chosen. Please keep an eye on this thread for when a date is actually locked in!

How to reserve your spot!

PM me your expression of interest and the date which suits you best! Also please indicate whether you want your attendance to be anonymous or not. If you don't say then I will be putting your name up ;p

Any last things you need to know
-This will be a non-alcoholic and drug free event!
-Depending on the interest, we may grab dinner or muck about somewhere after.
-You MUST have a UK mobile contact number, and I will need to grab your number a few days prior to the event.
-This is first come - first serve, reserve your spot fast!

*Depending on how fast this fills up, I may allow people to invite a friend. However there will be restrictions. Your +1 MUST be an Asian male or non-Asian girl and MUST be a Hey-Ai member! Again, keep an eye on this thread and ill let you know if this goes through.

So it's a London meet-up?... Guess that means I'm not invited, even though Alton Towers is nearer to my home town of Manchester than it is to London...

Alton Towers 150 miles away from London. But only 43 miles from Manchester.


Even UK evens outside of London are London-centric.

Manchester is in the UK....

So why is it a London meet-up? Why not just a Hey-ai! meet up? Or UK meet-up?

I don't feel included if it's being sold as a London only meet-up.

No booze and limited spots? Why the restrictions?

Alcohol - Pretty much all theme parks wont allow anyone intoxicated onto the rides, possibly even the premises. Also other people may not want to be involved in drinking (girls in particular) for the first time meeting a bunch of strangers.

Limited Spots - I prefer to have a smaller closer group of people to hang out with rather than a big group. However if there is a lot of interest and the waiting list becomes to big, I may increase it a tad to say 14-20 people.

Oh so it's not London or Alton Towers, the thread is misleading. You do realise Alton Towers is near Stoke don't you?
