Test: New Database Configuration

Everybody, after the discussion here , I have set up a new database infrastructure for test purposes. I know the site itself is slower now, as the new database itself is hosted on a different server, but what I am more interested in is whether the site still becomes unavailable every hour at around half past.

Please give me feedback with respect to service availability, not service speed.

so far it hasn't gone down. I'll let you know in an hour again if its still up
