Verification system
We are introducing the verification system. Verification means members can verify themselves to the mod/admin team and get a badge on their profile that says “Verified Person”.

Motivation for verification system:
- award genuine members
- prevent you from interacting with fakes, catfishes, etc.
- making this forum more secure

How to verify myself:
You can verify yourself by cam/video chat
Go to cam chat (or Skype, etc.) and let a Chat-Mod verify you. If no Chat-Mod is present, please message one to schedule a meeting (updated list of Chat-Mods coming soon!)

What else should I know about it:
This process is voluntary. You don’t have to do it in order to use Hey-Ai.

The “Verified Person” badge on a user's profile only says that the person has verified him/herself to us at some point. It does not mean that the picture on his/her avatar is actually him/her - so people can still use whatever avatar they like. So, be aware of who you trust on the internet (obviously).

Still, in any chatroom, one may be using a video stream as webcam. To make sure the person is real, ask him/her to inter-act with you: wave hand, pinch own nose, stick out tongue...

To make this bit this process easier I'll make a list of the people I've seen on camera, So no one has to stress themself.

Wait for the thread Im gonna open with the persons I and others mods have seen on cam already. Also that thread would be edit ONLY for mods, so it would be a practical way to verify everyone. :)

Pls be considerate, Admins and Mods are working hard to give you guys the best of us so help us :)
