I felt bad hijacking the asian metal thread talking about non-asian metal bands but all metal fans unite! what kind of metal do you enjoy? any band recommendations? I love really bluesy influenced sounding solos, but yeah let's spread our appreciation and love for the type of music that mozart would definitely be playing if he was alive today and jamming with the contemporaries xD oh man *imagines chopin dishing out disgustingly moving solos*

Yes! Metal kicks ass \m/ Porcupine Tree is a great progresive metal, kinda Pink Floyd feeling. 3 Inches of Blood just kicks ass, and Canadian xD Black Sabbath is always a fave, hmm, then theres Demon Hunter, The Melvins. This is a good start!!

so i see that metal's not very popular on this site, that's too bad... but yes, if you like really atmospheric stuff hyeryong you should definitely check out some black metal. one of my favourite songs is actually dunkelheit by burzum, let me find a video...

i'm aware that varg vikernes literally killed mayhem (one of my all time favourite black metal bands) but regardless the man's good at what he does. i think he released dunkelheit while serving the sentence for euronymous' murder? I'm unsure i've been out of the loop for some time...


i know it isn't metal but is anyone into industrial music as well? xD i love skinny puppy as well (AND THEY'RE CANADIAN YEAHHH) as well as early ministry some songs i recommend!! if anyone's interested, i just want to group up all the people who are into alternative types of music =] i'm quite open as well so post away guys!
