It seems most of the ladies on this site are interested in the boy band style kpop. As an older guy, i do not really feel a strong connection to those kinds of songs.

How many of you guys enjoy the less flashy styles of kpop, such as Clazziquai Project and House Rulez?

If you do, please share some more of those songs / artists. I'm Korean-American, but I'm quite sure most of the girls here know a lot more about kpop than me.

I think Clazziquai is quite popular, but the only kpop I ever see girls talking about on hey-ai are the boy bands.

I can't believe it, really, based on the other Korean pop I've seen...those boy/girl band songs are kind of irritating at times. Sorry guys! Thanks for sharing!

The first song to me it sounds a bit of a mix of like Daft Punk and Stars.

As a Korean-American, this style of kpop was as much of a surprise to me as it was to you. There is so much Korean music that is overshadowed by the top 20 kpop bands. I wish there was an easy way to find out more about the lesser known stuff. They deserve to be just as successful imo, but I guess they don't have the same popular appeal.

I know of many indie kpop ish not well known band. Music with real meaning.

Like Casker. My new favorite korean band.

Enjoy. This woman can sing.

Another band that disbanded but she still sings solo is Loveholiv and Jisun in front.

This song is great.

I have many bands and songs you might like!!

I really enjoy some of the indie Korean groups, especially Nell. Generic k-pop is becoming repetitive, unfortunately.
