Rock and indie for me.

alternative, indie, grange, garage,

and Reggae

Pop, R&B, jazz, latino, dance.

Every genre, but country or country-like music (this includes Taylor Swift -_-).

I find that music very tiring, annoying and boring, I grew up in a small town and it was a very country town so everyone listened to -_- (expect me of course). I just don't get the same emotions or feelings from that genre as I would with say indie music. I could actually say I despise country music.

Mostly soft musics but sometime rock is good

genres.....rock, alternative, punk, some classical-styles..ish.., "pop" (I mean whatever vanessa carlton is considered), some electric and techno.....but not much. Some harder rock, but it really depends.

The lyrics and how well they can actually sing together make a huge difference. I define music for how it affects a person...if it doesn't affect me, it doesn't feel like it's "music"...but noise---and irritating.


but I also love soundtracks, therefore....

instruments I love:

piano, flute, cello, violin, guitar, bagpipes, and basically the sounds a good orchestra can pull off together.
yeah, I know many dislike bagpipes......but when I was a child, I really loved that old celtic atmosphere it had in my movie----it sort of brings you to another world : D

I, myself, enjoy a variety of genres when it comes down to music.

I like chiptune aka 8-bit due to the nature of it being something I grew up with. As a gamer you will instantly recognize these tunes. A famous example is any of the Mario Bros. medleys.

I like pop...well actually to be more exact I like JPop. I just like the sound of it. For example, one of my faves is Nami Tamaki.

Funny thing is that both that I have mentioned thus far can fall under the electronic music genre. One type that I adore more than any of the other ones since a vast variety. From Eurobeats, Crunk, to Speedcore, Vocal Trance, Death Industrial, Drum & Bass, etc. This is just one genre I can really dig into. Lots of variety with each one with their own unique beats and sounds.

Another genre I like is rock. Doesn't matter what kind as I'll listen to it all. Just love guitar rifts and drums.

Metal music is also another favorite. I like symphonic black metal (Cradle of Filth), melodic death meta (In Flames)l, Gothic Metal, Speed Metal (Motorhead), and symphonic metal (Nightwish, Epica). It's the type of tune I like listening. I listen mainly for the instrumental but from time to time I'll catch the vocals too.

So yeah, these are a few genres I enjoy listening to.

I listen to a wide range of stuff but mostly dubstep, trance, progressive house, drum and bass, and breakbeats.

So far a live dubstep/electro band I like the most atm is Modestep. Seriously, they are best when seen live
