I don't have one defined / favorite, All are important to me. What classically and traditionally represents to Eastern Asia and to Southeast Asia is the Guqin, Guzheng, Erhu, Dizi, Pipa. For me it represents the guqin, guzheng and the dizi.
By playing the instrument and enjoying its musical essence of each note ~ sound, It makes my heart happy, transport me to another time, harmonizes my agitated environment, calms my mind, It motivates me to keep my faith strong to keep fighting, It helps me to concentrate on creating immortalized works for the benefit of others, my spirit is transmuted again to move on.
