I haven't played the Witcher but I have played Dragon Age Inquisition and it's alright. I rarely play it even though I own it and much prefer Oblivion or Morrowind to it.

Pros:
-Practical and awesome design in menu, graphics, and character creation

Cons:
-Plot is a bit tedious
-The combat is really annoying and hard to get into
-Not a lot to do (you can't speak with a lot of NPCs and you can't interact with many objects)

Perhaps it improves as the game progresses but I'm not sure.
