jb just like korean doing pop to me
anyway lot of ppl talk bad about them which is what they going to face
and i dont see the point for 5 or 4 ppl doing singing and dancing in the same time
but that will be cool had a team like that ~am i wired ?

the difference is that there will be more singer in a group, thus = biggest fanbase consisted from different fans for the particular singer i believed

K-pop is just pop in Korean language. I don't see why it should be called K-pop anyway. I'm not calling American pop A-pop. or Dutch pop D-pop.

Kpop is more than pop and should always be called Kpop. Its inspirational and it has meaningful lyrics, other than american pop that just talks about sex drugs and/or partying and doesn't speak to the ppl at all. Go to youtube. Type in 'shinee a-yo eng sub'. Now thts real pop tht has a purpose.

Both use catchy pop-songs to appeal to a young female demographic. Both have crazy fanatics that can't be reasoned with. Both have hardcore detractors (aka 'haters') that criticize them for being too feminine and without talent.

Well, I've got a news for you, Kpop is essentially a derivative of American boy/girlbands in terms of music (beats, arrangements, etc.) and package (dance, looks, promotion, etc.). Justin Bieber = a white guy doing Kpop? Probably, but Kpop also didn't invent pop music. Just saying...
