What new TV shows, movies, songs should I consume?

I barely watched any film or listened to the radio over the past 5 years, nor did I spend much time on Youtube.

I'd like to catch up on what entertains the modern world.

Would you mind giving recommendations?

I think you should go outside and play instead of watching tv or read a book. Incidentally I hear 50 Shades of Grey is good read.

I'm watching Scrubs right now. Good show.

There's so much sh-- on TV right now, it's ridiculous. I'm not a big fan of reality television, so I pretty much rule out 80% of it all. Cartoons suck these days... they should have ended the Simpsons years ago, but why would they? They're making so much money, right? SNL isn't worth watching anymore. Conan is still good. Game of Thrones? Suits? The new Hawaii Five-O is okay. Depends on what you like to watch. You'll find anything and everything.

Check out the new Bloc Party album, it's the best stuff I've heard in a long while. Yes, there's still good music being made. Again, you'll find anything and everything.

I strongly advise you to not simply go along with the hype and stay away from The Hunger Games completely. The Dark Knight Rises is the worst in the series. Avengers was good. I'm waiting for The Hobbit myself.
