oh dear, i watched couple of really disturbed movies.
like august underground trilogy. mordum is sick as hell.(I recommend)
Salo also or 120 days of sodom. Green elephant, not really horror movie, but really really disturbing film.

And you have to watch Begotten, true work of art.


and other japanese gore stuff, that I can't remember right now.

Yeah! these are good, well not horror movie all of thems but are good, i like "smile" too if you don´t see it yet, i recomend it ... is like a urban online myth... well you must see it, is a good horror movie ...

I loveeee the Grudge, Japanese and American.

Nice thread, I'm a huuuuuge horror movie buff. Definitely be checking some of these out when I get time. I'm more into the zombie or supernatural related horror movies, rather than the ungratuitous slasher/blood & gore type horrors.

Here's a couple more to add to the list. Not my favourites, but I think worth watching.

Not exactly a horror movie, but "Mulholland Drive" was crazy. Most unsettling movie I've ever seen was "Eraserhead". A good one is "Jacob's Ladder". "Hellraiser" was f**cked up. Big fan of "Halloween" (Original) and "A Nightmare on Elm Street" (Original).

Horror movies these days are not very creative. Just my opinion. More visuals than anything... plus, what's with all the remakes? Turning perfectly good movies into garbage... damn shame. Smh
