Thoughts on K-pop?

This topic has been repeatedly popping up on Hey-Ai from time to time.

My view? I don't personally understand the whole K-pop phenomenon.
K-pop is by and large full of pretentiousness. Uber-sappy, fabricated, and fake.

I'm Korean so I can say it.

My thoughts are reaaally so-so. I've been in the "scene" for about 7 years now and I can really see how it actually changed during all these years. (Yes I first found k-pop in 2006,point of view has changed a lot since then.)
K-Pop is fine, as the music. But what I probably hate the most is the fan culture. Yes there is decent fans whose behaviour is good but seriously, I don't love to see a girl in her mid 20's drooling over a guy who's probably at least 5 years younger (oh yes this happens.)

Ofcourse every idol band has the same kind of fan culture, even western (lets saaay 1D). Not my cup of tea :'D As for the music I actually prefer korean hiphop over kpop.

Don't like KPop in any sense. Boring... The only Korean musicians I like are MOT (못). They are like Korean Indie type.

Show me the meaning of being lonely

There's something missing in my heart

I love Korean pop, hip hop, r&b.. Haters gonna hate.
