What Are Your Talents & Skills in the Music, Dance & Performing Areas?

If you're into Music, Dance, Choreography or Performance in any area, let everyone know about it here. Tell us what your level of expertise is, whether beginner, intermediate or advanced. Tell us about when you first realised you could be good at that particular thing and if you've performed in front of any small or large crowds/audiences and how that went. Let us know if you've got music recording gear and if you've ever recorded in a studio before. Come forward also if you are or have done any audio engineering also. Me? I played violin as a little girl and learned the piano from my mother, too. At high school I played the saxophone in the school band and I started to play basic piano chords and write songs. I still write adult and childrens songs. On my youtube channel: ShelleyNicholasMusic there is a song there called 'You Don't Know It' - I wrote it ages ago but recorded it about three years ago. That will give you an idea of part of my style. I did all of the recording myself over a six hour period apx. It's not perfect but it will do.

I think I have talent in listening to Music

I play the bass guitar. I'd call myself somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I began playing nearly two years ago. As for when I started performing, pretty early, as my parents signed me up for numerous performance arts. Children's dancing, modern dance, lessons in theatre, guitar, choirs and finally the bass. I think it's partially shaped me into the not-at-all shy person I am today, to be honest.

Some basic beginner level salsa in my spare time. Going to try to start up ballroom dance soon.

Played piano and violin in my childhood. Would like to get those skills back up and learn guitar as well.

But overall I'm more into art and literature than music.

Im a dancer, a bboy. you can find videos of me in youtube. I'm considered professional in a regional level. Won quite a few competitions, represented Perth in Australia Red Bull BC finals. did gigs and shows countless times, to varying crowds. but always a student, never a master

Not many people see bboys anymore, we're pretty underground, and all of the real scene is underground as well. Most gigs I do there's drunk people telling me to spin on my head. Tbh, treat the dancers/performers with respect in a show, and they'll probably give an amazing performance in the end.

I write songs (Lyrics) I don't know how to write music but for some reason everytime I write a song the melody comes along with it! So in other words I make up music in my mind! I am a pro at writing since I've been doing it all my life! And I can also sing as well!

Well, my talents include learning by ear I can play pretty much any song on either guitar or piano by listening to it a couple of times.

In terms of levels; I would rate both my guitar and piano skills as intermediate.

I also tend to write a lot of poetry and lyrics. It's a fun way to get my emotions out.
