East Asian Drama, Movies, Music outside of Asia.

I just wonder if in USA or Western countries,
if they have the channel, or they broadcast the East Asian Drama
in their countries. I'm not talking about anime though,
anime is well known.
But I'm talking about the good old day Hong Kong Drama,
Taiwanese Drama, Jdroama, C-drama, and Kdrama.

I know that we can access it online today,

but I wonder if they have it on satellite back in those day.

Yeah, there're satellite channels for it, I think. I saw a drama playing from the TV in a Korean grocery store once. It had commercials and everything, so I think it was actually broadcasting from a channel.

I've also heard of spanish channels playing some? That might be an isolated incident.

I'm not sure, but for my cable network, I have to pay extra if I want to access those channels. But why pay extra if I can get access on the computer for free?
