what's with you and mystery books, mysterious girl? xD

I used to read mystery books when I was a kid, 7-10 yrs old. You know... Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Famous Five, Secret Seven, Enid Blyton etc. xP which ones do you read?

I really enjoyed the 90s Teen Thrillers, Point horror books and stuff. They aren't exactly the most sophisticated mystery stories, but they're definitely fun. There's something about teens being scared for their life before the advent of cell phones. Very quaint. I liked the woman who wrote I Know What You Did Last Summer for a while. I think her name was Lori...something. Duncan! Lori Duncan. R.L. Stine's Fear Street were always some of my favorites in middle school too.

But then I read one of his adult mystery-horror thing, and I didn't even know what to think about him anymore.

But the mystery books I've read tend to veer towards paranormal/fantasy/horror rather than the detective/real-life strain.
