Edge of Tomorrow

I went in there with pretty low expectation and was pleasantly surprised. It's now one of my favor movies of all time. If you're only watching one movie this summer, I would recommend this one. Even the release date had a deeper meaning, being on the 70th anniversary of D-Day. The movie paid a nice tribute to D-Day by setting the key battle as storming a beach.

I've seen it twice already. Pretty much my ideal summer movie. It has the action and most importantly has the light-hearted whimsy required for such a film.

It's an action movie that's funnier than most comedy movies.

Yeah I'll give you that. The ending doesn't make any sense. It's just an afterthought though and doesn't really take away from rest of the movie.
