A wedding that will move you to tears

Early this year, Rowden and Leizl decided to get married on July 8, 2014, Rowden's 30th birthday. Together with their adorable 2-year-old daughter, they already had a perfect family.

Then a twist of fate, Rowden got diagnosed with stage IV liver cancer in late May. His last request was to marry his one true love. After 12hours of preparations, his dream was fulfilled. Unable to take him outside the hospital, we brought the church to him. It was like a heartbreaking fairytale.

Rowden Go, at the age of 29-years-old, passed away on June 11, 2014. Less than 10hours after he said his vows.

I normally get teary eyed from any tearjerker or sad ending, emotional scenes always get the better of me, but I gotta admit, I was the same. Perhaps I've grown insensitive to the media always reporting on these 'A walk to remember' style weddings (watched that with an ex, don't judge haha) where someone is terminally ill and gets married before they die.

Like you said, sad story though, and I'm glad they got married before he passed. He fulfilled his dying wish.

I cried. Whenever I see these types of things , I just wish so much thay it were me instead. He didnt deserve to be sick like that...And I hate to see people in pain. I know it must have been really hard for his family. I'm glad he got what he wanted before he passed though.

that's really sad....beautiful touching love story. we should all learn to cherish our moments in life. there's just one thing i don't understand, if i was in his situation i probably wouldn't have married her in regards with her future in considerations.
