Bésame mucho (translated as Kiss me generously or Kiss me a lot) is the most recorded Mexican song in the world. It was written in 1940 by songwriter Consuelo Velázquez. There are many versions I like, including the one that The Beatles played for an audition in 1962. But now I want to share the one recorded by Cesária Évora, a magnificent Cape Verdean popular singer, also known as "Barefoot Diva": Kiss me, kiss me a lot, as if tonight were the last time...

Why do I seem so blind
I'm so sick of feeling
It's ruined my life

And the last guitar solo at around 7:30 minutes, deeply moving.
