• put some aloe vera or sunburn cream on it to protect and moisturize your burned skin so further damage can be avoid.
• It also lowers the chances of getting infection due to your outer skin barrier being damaged.

• Try not to use harsh soap to wash the burned areas, if you were to take a shower just rinse the burn area with water, dry it and put aloe vera or sunburn cream on it afterwards.

Drink lots of water as soon as possible and for the next few days, it helps to rehydrate your damaged and dehydrated skin.

• It also helps if you are getting a headache from too much sunlight. If you are getting a headache, and more likely because your body is dehydrated. Therefore, your body is pulling water from your head/brain(which it has a lot of water) to compensate areas where it's dehydrated but in result of creating a headache.
• Try to drink orange juice or other type of juice that has naturally salt in it, you will lose a lot of electrolytes during rehydration. Mix OJ with water 50% to 50% will help you recover faster.
• Lastly, try be careful next time, sunburn is pretty serious, most of the time the damage is not reversible on a molecular level. So one cannot see how severe it is. Always try to wear sunlight protection from all spectrum of light, it will only do you more good than bad.
