Among westerners, I feel the most wary about admitting I like animoo and all that jazz. I usually end up saying I like animation in general (which I do), hoping that they are only imagining Disney stuff.

I don't think so. I'm actually quite open about the things that I like. Even though most of them are things that the average person would too ashamed or too afraid to admit.

I love to watch anime. I love kawaii things. I love moe. I even have a crush on an anime character. Unfortunately I don't have a waifu pillow yet. I enjoy watching/reading yaoi and yuri anime, which are basically same sex romance genres. I have yaoi ships that I am not ashamed of telling others. I still prefer watching children/cartoon movies and tv series over live action ones.

I have many other things that I enjoy which I don't mind sharing, but they fall under the NSFW category so I will refrain from saying them.

Even when if it comes to new things, I wouldn't be ashamed of doing them either.
