He is from Taiwan, he was born in Taiwan, he lives in Taiwan, he made his music in Taiwan for years, he was heavily influence by Taiwanese artists, Taiwan's classical arts, literature and other music...etc to make his music. He is a Taiwanese music artist.
You just stated "jay's music background is western classical, not entirely Taiwanese, but nice try"
This is just one of your ridicules comments that is laughable, you have no idea what you are talking about. Then you try to relate this comment with your second comment.
"recently a bunch of good looking white ppl go to Taiwan and sing Chinese song, that still doesn't make them Taiwanese music artist(they produce Chinese music)"
Yes, I won't consider the Caucasians from your example are Taiwanese music artist. But, what does have to do with Jay Chou, the Taiwanese music artist? It's obvious that you have no idea what defines an artist of origin. Do some real research before you comment ok?
