Just finished Steins; Gate.

Best anime I have watched in a while. I feel almost as empty right now as Doctor Who sometimes makes me feel.

I can't seem to find another one right now. Need a recommendation. Something modern, entertaining, and not 500 episodes (I have one piece for that).

Thanks in advance,

Lets see:
Boku dake ga Inai Machi: Both involve going back in time to save people's lives. Steins;Gate is more science, In the latter, its the MC's ability.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu: Similar to Boku dake ga Inai Machi, the MC has time travelling abilities. The difference is Boku dake ga Inai Machi is done in a reality similar to ours, whereas Re:Zero is more fantasy

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica: very different anime, but yet so many similarities. They both start pretty light, then get dark and complex fast. Most people don't like mahou shoujo, but Madoka Magica is probably the most well done one. Make sure to also watch the movies.

Mirai NIkki: Both deal with time travel, but more in Steins;Gate. Stories are also quite different, but both characters use messages on cell phones to decide how the show goes.

I second Mirai Nikki. It is very different but I enjoyed it a lot.
