The puns in this particular episode are funny. Japanese noun to describe the woman's primary sexual organ. It means CLAM, too....or used to...i can no longer find it called that online. No reference. The old word may've gone out of style because of the slang.
The Japanese-American guy has a Latina-American girlfriend - very Californian!

Just finished watching this.

Great film - it's done to feel like almost one continuous take. The effect of this is that you can almost experience the tension as though you are down there in the trenches or over the battlefield with the protagonist(s) of the film.
