We've got so many people from around the world here. Please drop some recommendations for good non-Hollywood horror films.

As I am petrified of horror films, I can't really recommend any. There was one movie that scared me for life, but it is old... I still hate elevators...
The Thai film The Eye, not the American remake but it is old 2002

Cruising the cut on prime I have watched this boring and peaceful series for hours I have probably watched all the seasons at least twice.
History of the Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire

Interesting
The story of Egypt on prime I didn't like the host of this documentary, but the information is pretty neat
Mysteries of the Terracotta Warriors on Netflix This is cool, not only does it share the story of making the Warriors, but the possible historical drama surrounding the change in power from King to youngest son.

McDonald & Dodds (prime) cliche personality roles to play but I am a sucker for a mystery.
Vera (prime) I read the books, and I enjoy the series as well.

Mississippi River sharks Prime It is clean it is stupid, and it is fun

Red and Red 2 The first movie is great second movie has some funny parts

Break your heart
Don't judge me here I thought this was a movie because it said part 1 and part 2. But it was a tv series and a kdrama on top of that... but first episode had me hooked. But it broke my heart near every episode. I don't like being emotionally invested in a show or spend this much time! Anyways fight scene, music, jokes all great.

I am always looking for recommendations unfortunately I do get in a rut with movies, I don't like anything sad, scary, or heartbreaking, and I don't like to be "hooked"
