discuss your experiences around concert-going. anything from the trouble it took to get tickets to how you felt after the concert was over, and everything in between.


for me, the anticipation is one of the best feelings in the world, especially once inside the arena.
and to actually see your favorite singer right in front of you, in 3-D, it feels like a dream come true and heightens all of my senses.

I've been paid to go to %95 of the concerts I've been to. Too bad I'm most likely missing the show because I am too busy attending to people who have been enjoying the concert a little too much and are now voiding what was their breakfast, lunch and dinner (and all the booze/substances they have managed to ingest from the day) onto their laps. Or because some drunk decided to try and prove to everyone at the venue that he is the coolest guy there by jumping off some scaffolding and acquiring some sort of acute gravitational assisted trauma.

But that is the life of a medic.

When I was in bootcamp, they gave us the opportunity to attend a concert. Turned out to be a Christian concert (nothing wrong with that). We weren't able to do anything because we were disciplined not be have fun. When we got back, our drill instructors chewed everyone out for not having fun. We're talking spit at face, cussing, using the Lord's-name-in-vain language. Then he said "may the Lord be with you."

I rather watch concerts on the TV than be there at the concert, you get a much better view and the crowd noises aren't that obnoxious

I was getting hit on by a lady that stood behind me. She was at least 10 years older with kids and a husband who lives in East coast. I should of have taken her offer!
Also I saw two moms in their late 40's smoking a joint in front their daughters at another concert!

Running from VIP to being on the front of the stage with a million or more people around on a concert of my number one band since I was 12 .... scream their names and smile my as$ off all night to get their attention ...priceless experience

Saw Babymetal and Metallica this year. Both were fantastic. Going to see my favorite melodic death metal bands, Dark Tranquility and Arch Enemy in October and November. Live music is LIFE!
